Puzzle 1

Three kids are wearing hats. Jack says, “I see two red hats.” Jane says, “I see one red and one blue.” What color is Jack’s hat?

Jack’s hat is blue. Jane’s statement reveals that Jack must be wearing blue to see one red and one blue (she sees Jack and the third child).

Puzzle 2

In this logic puzzle, each colored rock represents a different number. You'll see a set of three equations using red, blue, and green rocks.

Your goal: figure out the value of each rock color. Use the clues in the equations to solve for how much the red, blue, and green rocks are worth.
